The Toyota 100 Cars for Good program is coming back again this year to offer more chances for charitable organizations to win a new Toyota car or truck. Up to 2,500 nominees will be accepted and a final count of 250 will be included in the contest. The three runners up each day will also receive a $1,000 grant from Toyota in order to help fund their day-to-day expenses.
Keep in mind the following dates for this event.
07/22 – 08/05: Up to 2,500 applications will be accepted for the contest.
08/19: A total of 250 finalists will be named and provided with materials to spread awareness.
11/1: The voting round on Facebook will begin and each day two winners will be named to receive a new Toyota car or truck.
This program has seen excellent success in the past with organizations winning vehicles to help victims of the Superstorm Sandy, transport zoo animals to schools, provide mobility for disabled adults, and more. Here at Cumberland Toyota we are glad to be associated with such a great cause. If you know of an organization that could use a new vehicle be sure to nominate them at www.100carsforgood.com.
