Scion Tuner Challenge Returns for 2013, Cumberland Toyota has the Updates

Scion LogoOh how I recall my time as a master auto builder.  I’ve created the sickest trims, most intricate custom paint jobs, and put together unbeatable engine mods.  Unfortunately, reality creeps its ugly in and I had to put down the Xbox controller.  Okay, I know in video game land pro custom tuners are a dime a dozen, but let’s face the facts; the real pros are few and far between.

In order to introduce the world to the DaVincis of the automotive world, Scion has created the Scion Tuner Challenge. For 9 years now, Scion has been giving hopefuls a chance to show off their modded masterpieces.  Only provided with a stock 2014 Scion tC and a $15,000 budget, Josh Croll, Walter Franco, and Young Tea are set loose to create an unmatched custom car.

With $10k on the line, the 3 builders are expected to do what most of us have only been able to accomplish in video games.  On November 6th, the world will be introduced to this year’s title winner.

If you simply can’t wait for the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show then here is just a little taste of what to expect. If you are now inspired to build your own custom Scion, check out our inventory here at Cumberland Toyota and Scion here in Cookeville, TN.
